Teach Scuba Diving
PADI’s Professional - Level Courses for Scuba Diving Leaders and Scuba Instructors.
You’ve been a scuba diver for over six months, you may have already attained the Master Scuba Diver rating, and treated yourself to several fun-filled scuba diving vacations, but something’s missing. Then one day you realise that you not only want to participate in scuba diving, but you want to teach the sport you have come to love.
The higher you take your professional career, the more you can teach, so whether you're taking your first professional step to become a PADI Divemaster or you're gearing up to be a Course Director we can mentor you to become a PADI professional.
At JC Scuba Ltd we are well equipped to offer the best training package for your career path, with the support of our own IDC Course Director Clive Albon.
The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made up of two parts – the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Most dive professionals complete the entire IDC and go on to attend an Instructor Examination (IE), which is the final step to earn a PADI Instructor certification.

Taking the IDC Staff Instructor course provides you with in-depth knowledge of the instructor development process and prepares you to shape the next generation of PADI Professionals. IDC Staff Instructors assist with instructor training and share their wisdom and experience with new PADI leaders.
To complete your Instructor training you need to be tested after you complete your IDC, You will only be allowed to take these exams once your IDC has been passed successfully, these tests or examinations are needed so that you can certify as an OWSI. The exam is a right of passage for PADI Instructors and is known as the Instructor Examination (IE).
